About Doberman Rescue of Atlanta
Doberman Rescue of Atlanta, Inc. is committed to rescuing abandoned and unwanted Doberman Pinschers and placing them in safe, loving homes. We occasionally take in Rottweilers and Doberman mixes. Our adoptable dogs are housed in foster homes throughout metro Atlanta, GA. Doberman Rescue of Atlanta is a 501c3 non-profit corporation and is licensed with the Georgia Department of Agriculture.
Doberman Rescue of Atlanta is made up entirely of volunteers. No one in our organization receives a salary. We are a Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA) approved rescue. We adhere to the DPCA's Code of Ethics
Interested in Adopting?
Our dogs for adoption can be seen on our Available Dogs page. If you see a dog you might be interested in adopting, please read our Adoption Policies, then email us at info@dobermanrescueatlanta.com letting us know which dog you are interested in and why. We will ask a few questions up front before asking you to fill out an adoption application.
Need to surrender your dog?
If you are no lonager able to keep your Doberman or Rottweiler, please read the info on our Surrendering Your Dog page. In order for us to consider taking your dog, we will need a completed Owner Surrender Questionnaire. This does not legally transfer the dog to us, it just gives us info we need to determine if we can take your dog and which foster home would be appropriate for him/her.
